Meet Dr. Nishani Patel (Cleburne, TX)

Dr. Patel joined Cleburne Eye Clinic in August of 2022. She was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, where she takes pride in her hometown football team the Dallas Cowboys. Dr. Patel graduated with a degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas before attending The University of Houston College of Optometry, where she graduated in May 2022.

Dr. Patel has had the privilege of working with several community clinics, pediatric vision screenings, and outreach programs throughout optometry school. She is passionate about pathology, managing retinal diseases, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eye, corneal disease, binocular vision, and amblyopia.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel can be found playing with her corgi Millie, spending time with her family and friends, making home cooked meals, reading mystery thrillers, and exploring the world.
